Riley Duren is Chief Executive Officer and founder of the non-profit organization Carbon Mapper with a public good mission to deliver actionable and accessible methane and carbon dioxide emissions data. Previously, he spent 35 years at NASA mostly at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory where he served as laboratory Fellow and Chief Systems Engineer for the Earth Science and Technology Directorate, leading space mission development, operations, research and analysis, and applied science programs. He has served as principal investigator on multiple research projects funded by US federal and state agencies focused on multi-scale greenhouse gas monitoring systems.
