Aminta Estrada Leyva is a Researcher at SEI Latin America, where she is part of the Sustainable Transitions research team. Her work bridges environmental quality, climate resilience, and low-carbon transitions, with a strong emphasis on justice and gender perspectives in sustainability pathways. Before joining SEI, she was a Research Assistant at the Stockholm Resilience Centre, coordinating projects on ecosystem-based governance and contributing to university teaching. Aminta holds a degree in Biology from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and a master’s in Social-Ecological Resilience for Sustainable Development from Stockholm University.
