Storage will be key to accelerating the deployment of renewable energy in the Caribbean. To achieve this, it is essential to carry out competitive and innovative processes that consolidate demand, achieve economies of scale, and open up bankable investment opportunities.
This session will present the proposed project for an aggregated competitive tender to accelerate the deployment of renewable energy and battery storage systems in the Caribbean, while also fostering dialogue among Caribbean governments on innovative approaches to market design, risk mitigation, and regional aggregation.
