Mr. Rojas holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from the Costa Rica Institute of Technology; a Master’s degree specialized in Energy Markets from the National University of Colombia; a Master’s in Managerial Skills from the University of California; and a Master’s in Senior Management from the University of San José. He is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Regulation and Public Policies in the energy sector at the Central American Institute of Public Administration. Additionally, he has extensive experience in energy, renewable energies, electric infrastructure projects, environment, sustainability, and electricity markets. He has worked for 23 years at the Costa Rican Institute of Electricity (ICE), holding positions such as Head of the Generation Division, Process Coordinator for the Central Region of the Generation Division, Manager of Garabito and Orotina Plants, Maintenance Coordinator of Barranca Plant, Electrical Maintenance Manager for Miravalles Geothermal Plants, and Support in Electrical and Electronic Maintenance, Machinery, Equipment, and Workshops. He currently serves as the Electricity Manager at the Costa Rican Institute of Electricity.
