Over 20 years of experience in electricity markets and power systems, executing high-impact practical projects. He has collaborated with companies in the energy, mining, and financial sectors, Ministries of Energy, Public Works and Finance, the National Energy Commission, and the National Electricity Coordinator. Internationally, he has worked in multiple countries in the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Oceania, and with globally recognized organizations, including Enel, The State Grid, National Grid, RWE NPower, UK Power Networks, BHP Australia, Samsung, E3G, NERA, and the European Commission, as well as regulatory authorities such as Ofgem, BERR, the UK Competition Market Authority (CMA), Olade, the Panel of Experts on the Electricity Sector in Chile, the Tribunal de Defensa de la Libre Competencia (TDLC), the IDB, the CAF, the World Bank, and EPRI.
He has published more than 100 academic articles and has served as an associate editor in several journals.
