He holds a degree in Naval Engineering (ITBA), a Master of Science in Engineering (University of Michigan), and an MBA (Universidad Austral). He has also studied Law and Economics of Climate Change (FLACSO).
At his own shipyard in Buenos Aires, he has designed and built more than 150 vessels—ranging from container ships to tugboats—many of them exported to Europe, Africa, and the Americas. He has also worked in shipyards in the United States and served as Vice President of both the largest Argentine shipyard and the Argentine Naval Industry Federation.
He is a postgraduate professor of Blue Economy at Universidad Austral and ITBA, and he founded the Naval Vector at the University of Buenos Aires, where he develops solutions for regional naval challenges. He is an independent international consultant and advisor to the IDB on naval solutions that are Sustainable, Competitive, and Inclusive. To implement these solutions, he founded the company Eureka, which offers a wide range of services, including the design, construction, and long-term leasing of zero-emission vessels powered by green fuels.
