Ramiro Gómez Barinaga is the Country Delivery Director at RELP, where he leads the design of renewable energy and storage auction programs in countries with cooperation agreements. He coordinates local and regional teams for market analysis, risk assessment, and the drafting of bidding documents and PPA contracts, and is responsible for government and stakeholder engagement.
In the public sector, he served as legal advisor to the Government of Argentina on renewable energy, contributing to the design of the regulatory framework, PPA contracts, and guarantee mechanisms for the RenovAr program. In the private sector, he has a strong background in mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, investment structures, and project finance, with a particular focus on renewable energy.
He holds a law degree from the National University of the Littoral, a Master’s in Tax Law from the same institution, and a Master’s in Finance and Law from the University of CEMA. He has also taught Corporate Law, Project Finance, Renewable Energy, and Mergers and Acquisitions at universities such as UCES, UTN, and UBA.
