Nicolás Spinelli is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ANCAP and has more than 15 years of experience in the energy sector. He has held both technical and managerial positions within ANCAP and the ANCAP Group. He began his career at the company as a refinery process operator, later serving as a Production Planning Engineer, General Management Coordinator, Logistics Manager, and as Director and Chairman of the Board of Carboclor.
He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of the Republic and an MBA from IEEM – Business School of the University of Montevideo, as well as a Master’s in Energy Management from the Catholic University of Uruguay. Since 2019, he has been an adjunct lecturer in a postgraduate program at the University of the Republic, and since 2022, he has participated in courses related to labor relations at IEEM – Business School.
