Marta Cabeza Vargas is a Public Administrator and Execution Engineer in Industries. She holds a Master's degree in Public Management, as well as Diplomas in institutional management and development.
Since 2022, she has served as Superintendent of the Superintendency of Electricity and Fuels (SEC), appointed through the Senior Public Management System. Prior to this role, she held the position of Secretary General at the same institution, where she was responsible for managing both administrative and operational/technical matters. Her work included the implementation of the Institutional Efficiency Goals (MEI), the Institutional Emergency Management System, the Institutional Gender Policy, and the implementation and oversight of the Transparency, Lobbying, and Public Information Access Agenda.
