Lisa Viscidi is the Lead Energy Specialist for the Inter-American Development Bank in Argentina. She has 20 years of experience in research, technical assistance, and project management. She has worked with donor clients and governments across Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East to design and implement technical assistance programs and to advise ministries, regulators, and state-owned enterprises on policy, regulation, financing, and private sector investment.
Previously, as a Senior Manager in the Energy, Climate Change, and Natural Resources division of the Government and Public Services practice at Deloitte Consulting, she led technical assistance projects on behalf of donor agencies, including the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Energy Resources and the U.S. Agency for International Development.
Before joining Deloitte Consulting, she was the founding director of the Energy, Climate Change, and Extractive Industries Program at the Inter-American Dialogue, a think tank, where she published technical reports and articles and led public-private dialogues focused on energy, climate change, and mining in Latin America and the Caribbean.
