Julio Maturana França, Head of the Sustainable Energy Division. He is a Civil Hydraulic Engineer from the University of Chile, with a Master’s degree in Risk and Resources Governance from Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg. A professional with experience in renewable energy and energy efficiency project management, local-scale resource governance, and water and energy resource planning. He has worked at the Ministry of Energy, the Energy Sustainability Agency, and in municipal governments. In recent years, he served as Undersecretary of Energy, Executive Secretary of the Interministerial Committee for the Northern Macrozone, Head of the Fuels and New Energy Division, and Head of the Sustainable Energy Division at the Ministry of Energy, as well as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Chilean Nuclear Energy Commission.
