He holds a degree in Journalism with a Minor in Contemporary History from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and a Master’s in Economic Regulation from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. He has developed his career for more than 20 years in the energy sector, working in various areas that have provided him with a broad and comprehensive view of the industry.
His career includes experience in public institutions, where he was involved in the design and implementation of policies related to the development of the electricity market and sectoral regulations. In the private sector, he has worked in strategic consulting and engagement with generation, transmission, and distribution companies, contributing to the development of proposals that strengthen the sector’s sustainability and modernization.
He has also been involved in academia and the media, contributing to public dissemination and debate on the country’s energy challenges.
Currently, he serves as Executive Director of Empresas Eléctricas A.G., the trade association that brings together Chile’s main electricity distribution companies, which supply more than 97% of regulated users nationwide. He actively participates in the public-private dialogue on the industry and the challenges of Chile’s energy transition, as well as its connection with citizens and customers.
