She is a senior researcher at POLEN Just Transitions (Colombia). She holds a Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D. in Engineering. Her professional and research career focuses on systems analysis and long-term planning for a just energy transition.
Recently, she served as an advisor at the Ministry of Mines and Energy for the development of the Just Energy Transition Roadmap, and as Deputy Director of Demand at the Mining and Energy Planning Unit (UPME).
She has also been a lecturer and researcher at the National University of Colombia, EAFIT University, and Aarhus University (Denmark).
