Jacqueline Hazbun Arias holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Legal and Social Sciences and is a Lawyer and Notary, graduating with Cum Laude honors from Universidad Francisco Marroquín. She has also completed various training programs in energy business, including specializations in different aspects of the energy sector such as the Regional Market, Energy Financial Markets, and Global Energy Business.
She is a member of the Boards of Directors of the National Association of Generators and the Institute for Economic Competitiveness and previously served as Director of the Board of the Guatemalan Electrification Institute.
Currently, she is Managing Partner at Consultorías Trípode, where she conducts Market and Ongoing Business Analysis, regulatory analysis, political-institutional management, and personnel training for generation and commercialization agents in both local and regional energy markets.
Since 2022, she has also served as Executive Director of the Association of Independent Cogenerators.
