Fidel Carrasco González is Coordinator of the Undersecretariat for Planning and Energy Transition at the Ministry of Energy. He has over 20 years of experience in the Mexican electricity sector and in international cooperation issues related to renewable energy, energy efficiency, and climate change. Throughout his professional career, he has held various positions at the Energy Regulatory Commission, the Ministry of Energy, the Institute of Renewable Energy of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, and SIEMENS Mexico, as well as serving as a consultant for the Mexico Climate Initiative, the German Development Agency, the World Bank, and the Inter-American Development Bank. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science in renewable energy.
