She is the Minister of Industry, Energy, and Mining of Uruguay. In addition, she serves as a Lecturer in Law and Administration and Services at the National Institute of Technical Education (INET - ANEP), with 25 years of experience in Public Administration. She served as a Board Member of UTE, representing the Frente Amplio, during the 2020–2025 term, and previously as Director General of the Secretariat of the Ministry of Industry, Energy, and Mining between 2015 and 2020.
Her career includes serving as Legal Advisor to the Presidency of Antel and the Presidency of UTE. She also held responsibilities in the Deputy Directorate of the Human Resource Strategies and Development Area of the National Civil Service Office and taught Law at the National School of Public Administration. In addition, she worked as Legal Advisor in the Legal Counsel Office of the National Civil Service Office and as Attorney-Procurator in the Legal Counsel Office of CODICEN.
