Diana Salazar is co-founder and co-CEO of Geek Girls LatAm, a pioneering organization in Latin America dedicated to promoting the participation of girls, young women, and women in the fields of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM). The organization has been recognized by the UN Global Compact for its best practices in advancing gender equality and reducing inequalities as part of the Sustainable Development Goals.
A visual designer and specialist in virtual learning environments, Diana has more than a decade of experience and is distinguished for her ability to integrate creativity, technology, and strategy in the development of technological products and in leading interdisciplinary teams toward high-impact results.
Her corporate trajectory includes her work at FedEx Corporation, where she received the Global OpCO IT Excellence Award FY21—an honor awarded to fewer than 30 people in an organization of over 550,000 employees.
She is a Tech Producer, a role in which she brings together engineering, development, business, and observability teams to create technology-based products. Recently, she embraced a new role—being the mother of Salomón—while continuing to work tirelessly to create wealth, prosperity, and a future where female talent in science and technology is the rule rather than the exception. Passionate about futures design, she is firmly convinced that they can only be fully built when women have a seat at the decision-making table.
