She has been the President of ANCAP since March 2025. She is a Chemical Engineer (UdelaR) with training in public policy design, economic regulation, and energy project management. She has over 15 years of experience in the Uruguayan energy sector.
She has worked at MIEM, URSEA, and ANCAP, holding positions in technical advisory and management. Between 2016 and 2025, she served as an advisor to the Board of Directors and on Strategic Affairs at ANCAP.
She has led negotiations with public and private stakeholders, both nationally and internationally, on issues related to regional energy integration. She represented Uruguay in organizations such as UNASUR, URUPABOL, IRENA, IIRSA, OLADE, ECLAC, and the World Bank.
