Andrés Romero Celedón served as Executive Secretary of the National Energy Commission of the Government of Chile from 2014 to 2018, the agency responsible for regulating the country’s energy sector. He is currently a Partner and Director at the consulting firm Valgesta Nueva Energía and an international consultant for the World Bank and the IDB.
He is a lawyer by profession, holding a degree from the University of Chile, and has a Master’s degree in Governance and Public Management from the Ortega y Gasset Institute in Spain.
Throughout his professional career, he has specialized in energy market regulation, public policy, and institutional reforms.
