Andres is a Senior Energy Specialist in the EEX Global Knowledge Unit (IEEGK) specialized in management and operation of T&D companies. Prior to joining IEEGK he worked as distribution manager / director of electricity services for the utility sector of Panama, Dominican Republic, and Colombia. His expanding expertise in the energy sector allowed him to assume the technical operation of 4 wind farms in Uruguay (190MW) and to provide technical assistance and engineering services to the power sector of LATAM, Africa and South Asia, working as a consultant for the World Bank / IFC, EDM in Mozambique, Ministry of Energy of Ghana, and the government of Dominican Republic.
