The energy transition requires active local governance, capable of connecting global challenges with the specific opportunities of each territory. In this context, the Latin American Network of Energy Cities (Red LACE) has established itself as a pioneering platform for cooperation among municipalities, ministries, and strategic actors in the region, promoting innovative models of local energy management.
This meeting aims to highlight the accumulated experience of Red LACE and foster an in-depth dialogue on the challenges and opportunities facing energy cities in Latin America and the Caribbean on their path toward sustainability. Through a multi-stakeholder exchange, lessons learned, success stories, and future perspectives will be shared to strengthen municipal energy management capacity and advance toward more sustainable, inclusive, and resilient territories.
