Latin America and the Caribbean are at a key moment to accelerate the energy transition, advance decarbonization, and strengthen regional integration. The growing need for sustainable and resilient solutions demands collaborative spaces that bring together governments, academia, businesses, and multilateral organizations around a shared vision.
Within this framework, the Latin American and Caribbean Energy Center (ENLACE) has emerged, promoted by the Latin American Energy Organization (OLADE), the University of Chile, and a network of strategic partners from across the region.
The objective of this session is to publicly present the ENLACE Center as a regional hub of knowledge and technical assistance that will provide innovative and cost-effective solutions to the energy challenges of Latin America and the Caribbean.
The objectives are:
• To communicate the Center's mission, vision, and areas of action.
• To highlight the importance of collaboration between OLADE, the University of Chile, and the regional academic network.
• To call on governments, multilateral organizations, and the private sector to join this platform for integration and cooperation.
