Session

II Latin American and Caribbean Youth Meeting on Energy 2026

Session information

In a geopolitical context marked by uncertainty and the need to accelerate responses to the climate crisis, young people in Latin America and the Caribbean have strengthened their participation in the debate on the region's energy future. Through innovation, advocacy, and collective action, young professionals, students, technical specialists, and community leaders are promoting proposals aimed at a fairer, more resilient, and inclusive energy transition.

Within the framework of the 11th Energy Week, OLACDE, together with CEUS Chile and Youth4Energy, invites you to the 2nd Latin American and Caribbean Youth Energy Meeting, conceived as a space for dialogue, networking, and collaboration among young representatives from the region. This second edition is supported by the Pedro Henríquez Ureña National University.

The first edition, held in 2015 in Santiago, Chile, brought together more than 200 participants and strengthened networks and initiatives led by young people in the sector. This new meeting aims to highlight their contributions, promote the exchange of experiences, and foster reflection on innovation, employability, resilience, and a just energy transition, bringing together young people from the 27 OLACDE member countries.
