This session will highlight the role of electricity in the regional energy context and convene key stakeholders to discuss the current challenges and opportunities of the sector, while also setting the stage for the Business Council Dialogue.
The discussion will (i) examine the strategic role of electricity in the energy transition, (ii) explore regional cooperation models for power integration, (iii) promote sustainable practices that enhance efficiency and reduce the sector’s environmental footprint, and (iv) foster the exchange of successful experiences that strengthen the social, environmental, and financial legitimacy of electricity projects in Latin America and the Caribbean.
