Session

Boosting Energy Efficiency in LAC through the ESCO Model (Invitation-Only Event)

Session information

The ESCO model has become a key global tool to promote energy efficiency and self-consumption projects, as it allows investments to be financed with the savings generated, taking on technical and financial risk instead of the client.
Today, OLADE member countries in Latin America and the Caribbean have a unique opportunity to advance in this area, leveraging the experience of institutions and actors with extensive international expertise and multiple successful cases.
One of the main challenges for ESCO companies is scaling and expanding their solutions. For this, it is essential to understand in detail the practical operation of the ESCO model, the requirements and conditions to establish an energy services company, the available financing alternatives, and the importance of building a regional collaboration network to reduce gaps and generate new opportunities.
In this specialized workshop, participants will have the opportunity to: Learn from real cases and international experiences; analyze current and future scenarios of the sector; establish a collaborative working space aimed at developing a regional commercial network, with the support and guidance of the ESCO Global Network and Anesco Chile A.G.
