What is the way to collaborate to close the financing gap that stands in the way of Latin America’s energy transition?
It is planned to bring together key stakeholders to discuss and develop innovative solutions to attract private capital and mobilize the resources needed to modernize electricity grids, integrate renewables, build clean energy infrastructure, and address financing needs for both climate change mitigation and adaptation in the region.

The objective of this panel is to address the key challenges and opportunities to boost the development of the low-emission hydrogen industry in Latin America and the Caribbean.
This involves examining in depth both green hydrogen produced from renewable energies and hydrogen of other colors, analyzing their respective advantages, limitations and social and environmental implications.

It aims to examine the key challenges and opportunities to drive the transition towards sustainable transport in Latin America and the Caribbean, considering the different modes of transport: air, maritime, river and how they can be addressed in an integrated manner.
Through this dialogue, the panel will seek to develop an integrated vision and concrete actions to transform the Latin American and Caribbean transport system towards a cleaner, more efficient and resilient model.

Resilience: Climate Change, Heat Waves, Flooding

The objective of the discussion is to analyze the challenges that climate change imposes on the energy sector in Latin America and the Caribbean, and to explore adaptation strategies to strengthen the resilience of these systems to extreme phenomena such as heat waves and floods.
As these events become more frequent and intense, electrical infrastructure faces significant pressures, from increased energy demand to risks of supply disruptions and physical damage.
The discussion will focus on concrete cases, such as the impact of heat waves in Mexico and floods in Brazil, to identify innovative solutions and opportunities for collaboration to mitigate these risks and ensure a secure, sustainable and resilient energy supply in the region.
