IX ENERGY WEEK
The IX edition of the Energy Week will be a space for the exchange of experiences and knowledge, as well as a suitable setting for high-level meetings between decision-makers and public policy makers, the private sector, academia and all actors in the regional and global energy sector.
The event will address the following topics in depth:
– Innovation in the energy sector: next generation fuels, regional advances in innovation, energy storage solutions, etc.-
Gender equity in the energy
sector- Women’s access to STEM-
“Last mile” – universal access to modern energy in the region.
-Energy efficiency goals and policy and plans progress
– Sustainable mobility in the region
– Adaptation of energy infrastructure to climate change
– Policies and regulations for transitions 2.0
– Decarbonization of demand
– Among others.
In addition, the following will take place:
– OLADE Council of Experts- LIV
OLADE Meeting of Ministers
– II Business Council
These and other topics will bring together the most prominent regional and global panelists.
What is this event looking for?
- Lay the groundwork for analysis of the global landscape and how regional and national actors foresee energy development in the short, medium and long term
• Create spaces for exchange and multi-stakeholder dialogue
• Create a framework conducive to establishing agreements and business
• Promote public/private participation in the discussion of energy progress in Latin America and the Caribbean
