Latin America and the Caribbean have a critical window to become a global energy hub thanks to the potential of its human resources, its green energy matrix (powershoring) and its vast renewable resources and strategic minerals. However, capitalizing on this opportunity will require overcoming four key challenges: developing specialized transmission and logistics infrastructure, creating regionally integrated production chains, establishing regulatory frameworks that attract investments in green manufacturing, and mobilize human capital.
