Connecting Minds, Energizing the Future

Session information

The Latin American and Caribbean Energy Organization (OLACDE), together with the Pontifical Catholic University Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) and the National University Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU), invites the academic community, researchers, professionals, and students to participate in the Academic Parallel Event “Connecting Minds, Energizing the Future,” which will be held on October 2, 2026, as part of the 11th Energy Week. This edition is the second of this successful initiative, previously held during Energy Week in Chile, and consolidates a space for encounter and collaboration between the academic world and the energy sector of the region.

The event seeks to address the challenges and opportunities of regional integration in the energy sector, promote socially responsible research in energy, and reflect on the use of artificial intelligence in the sector. It also aims to strengthen a regional network of collaboration among universities and research centers to promote applied knowledge, innovation, and human capital development.

It is aimed at representatives of governments, companies and educational institutions of the OLACDE member countries.
