The OLACDE Business Council’s thematic working group on Energy Security seeks to consolidate a strategic public–private coordination space focused on strengthening regional cooperation, attracting investment, and accelerating energy projects that contribute to the sustainable development of Latin America and the Caribbean. The region’s energy security will depend on its ability to build more resilient, integrated, diversified, and sustainable energy systems. The coexistence of multiple energy sources and technologies will require a multi-energy vision capable of aligning security of supply, the energy transition, infrastructure development, digitalization, resilience, institutional strengthening, and monitoring.
