The thematic working group on Renewable Energy seeks to strengthen a regional platform for dialogue and cooperation aimed at accelerating investment, promoting energy integration, and consolidating Latin America and the Caribbean’s position as a strategic actor in the global energy transition. Coordinated participation by multilateral institutions, public- and private-sector representatives, and international stakeholders will help advance the financing mechanisms, technical cooperation, and technological innovation needed to expand renewable energy and power grids, deepen integration, develop industrial value chains, strengthen energy security, and promote sustainable and competitive development in the region.
