The thematic working group on Hydrocarbons seeks to consolidate a regional coordination space to strengthen energy security, promote investment, and advance an orderly energy transition adapted to the realities of Latin America and the Caribbean. The participation of international organizations, public- and private-sector representatives, and cooperation entities will help promote regulatory good practices, financing, and regional energy integration, contributing to the sustainable development of the hydrocarbon sector, the strengthening of strategic regional infrastructure, and the decarbonization of the hydrocarbon value chain.
